Cynthia S Atlanta , GA November 26, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Gas Dryer LG7801XSN1 My whirlpool dryer of 25 years wouldn't turn on! I tried all the obvious solutions but no luck. I called an appliance repair person and he said it sounded like the timer. He asked for the model number and would get back to me with a price. He called back the next day saying its so old that he would have to special order it and it would take awhile and would cost $200 plus his service charge. He suggested I'd be better off getting a new one. Well after reading the reviews on the new dryers they just don't make them like they use to. So I took off the back panel of the dryer and investigated the problem. There isn't much there to make it complicated to repair myself. So I searched on line for the timer and YES...I found it on Appliance Parts Pro.com and ordered it. It came quickly and they even offer a Youtube site to help you install it.....which was so so so simple that even I a 67 year old woman could do it easily. I was SO happy!!! There's a lot of satisfaction in doing things yourself! I will always turn to Appliance Parts for future needs!!!! Thanks for being there for us!!!! Oh I ended up paying only $75 for the part!!!!
