Lin A Long Valley , NJ October 17, 2014 Appliance: KitchenAid Gas Dryer KGYE770BWH0 Dryer would not turn off Replaced the timer. It worked, but the repair video which made it seem so simple was a bit inadequate for our model. The new timer had one less connection terminal than the old one, leaving us with an extra wire. Also there were 6 wires to be moved instead of the 3 in the video. We got it figured out, but it took quite a bit of time and made us a little nervous. We were unable to diagnose the problem ourselves and had to pay a repairman $70 just to come and pinpoint the timer as the culprit.
