Description
This electromechanical washer timer controls cycle sequencing so the washer advances through fill, wash, spin and drain stages reliably. Replacing a failed timer restores proper cycle progression and timing control. What it does:
- Rotates internal cams to switch washer functions between fill, agitate, spin and drain
- Sends power to appropriate components at each cycle step
- Commonly used when the washer won't advance cycles, gets stuck in one mode, or fails to spin
- Works as the central cycle-control device for compatible top-load washer models
