Description

This electromechanical timer controls the sequence and duration of a washer's cycles so loads run through wash, rinse and spin in the correct order. Replacing a faulty timer restores proper cycle advance and timing control. What it does:

• Rotates through washer cycle steps to control motor, water valves and agitation timing
• Causes the washer to start and advance through wash, rinse and spin stages when working
• Common symptom: washer stalls mid-cycle or won't advance to the next cycle
