Whirlpool 330031 Range Top Burner Receptacle Kit OEM Part

Personally I have experience working with electricity and knowing if I bought the part required this would be an easy fix. I got my model number and contacted Appliance Parts Pros and placed my order for the new elements, terminal blocks, and for appearance purposes 4 new Drip Pans. Excellent service and quick shipping. I ordered my parts on Sunday and received them on Tuesday. This was a simple repair that only required a screwdriver to remove the old terminal block from the range hood, wire cutter/strippers too cut and strip the existing wiring going to the terminal blocks and a cigarette light to heat the heat shrinks that are included with your terminal block kit. This is what I consider to be an easy home repair. If you are not real familiar working with electrical components I suggest you watch the short little videos provided pertaining to how to change the terminal blocks and you will have no problem at all.

After watching the repair video on the Appliance Parts Pros web page, I ordered the top burner receptacle kit. Very simple repair. My burner works again!

I lucked out my nephew was here to deer hunt and he helped me. I do believe I could have done it on my own but was more confident with his help. I will say the videos did help.

I swapped burners to verify that the burner was good. I used a voltmeter to verify that the voltage at the burner socket was correct. I ordered a new socket from AppliancePartsPros and replaced the defective socket. The range works well now.

REPLACED NEW RIGHT FRONT POWER BURNER. THIS DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I THEN REPLACED THE BURNER CONNECTING SWITCH BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUR VIDEO. BURNER HEATS UP NORMALLY, BUT I DON'T KNOW YET IF IT WILL SUDDENLY GO TO THE HIGH SETTING. IT WAS A SPORADIC PROBLEM I WAS HAVING...SO I'M HOPING THIS SOLVES THE ISSUE. FINGERS ARE CROSSED....BUT IN EITHER CASE....I NEEDED A NEW BURNER. REPAIR WAS SIMPLE....THE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO WAS VERY EASY TO FOLLOW.
