The Trim Vent is an OEM component specifically designed for Whirlpool ranges. Located at the rear of the unit above the oven cavity, the trim vent serves an important safety and ventilation purpose.
Constructed of heat-resistant sheet metal with a powder-coated finish, the trim vent features an internal baffle system and a rear-mounted exhaust fan. This facilitates the proper drawing of hot oven air and fumes up and out of the kitchen area.
This exhaust vent meets all codes regarding flame barrier rating and venting performance. It attaches securely to the framework at the top and back edges.
