The Trim Vent is an OEM component specifically designed for Whirlpool gas ranges. Located at the rear of the unit above the oven cavity, the trim vent serves an important safety and ventilation purpose.
Constructed of heat-resistant sheet metal with a powder-coated finish, the trim-vent features an internal layered baffle system and a rear-mounted exhaust fan. This facilitates the extraction of hot oven emissions and fumes up and out of the kitchen space.
This exhaust vent adheres to all codes and regulations regarding temperature ratings and venting performance. It attaches securely to the framework of the gas range with mounting brackets.
