Description
This outer tub replaces the washer's outer wash tub that holds the inner drum and directs water during cycles. Installing a new outer tub restores the washer's ability to contain water and maintain proper drum alignment. What it does:
- Houses and supports the inner tub/drum so laundry spins safely
- Directs wash and rinse water to the drain path
- Prevents leaks when intact; cracks or damage can allow water to escape
