Dennis P St. Francis , WI November 12, 2014 Appliance: Model WGD8500SRO Dryer wouldn't start or when it did operation was erratic ie drying times were different would change setting would restart after pause button was pushed error code f02 Replaced console electronics. ($$$) Unplugged unit. Removed two 1/4" drive screws on rear of unit to remove top. Unplugged control housing from machine electronics. Released plastic tabs on control housing that hold housing to cabinet (six total - one on either side, three on top and one in center on bottom of housing - which easy to miss and therefore breaks). Removed selector knob and released control board retaining tabs to remove board. Assembly reverse of disassembly. Hardest part of job was moving unit away from wall - stacked washer/dryer.
