This genuine replacement part is an upper dishrack. The upper dishrack is the top shelf of a dishwasher that holds plates, bowls, and utensils. Over time through continuous use, this upper rack may become damaged, making it difficult to secure dishes during a wash cycle. If the dishrack is visibly damaged or no longer opening and shutting properly, it will need to be replaced. Thankfully, replacing this dishrack is a relatively simple process.To remove the old dishrack, simply pull it out and lift the wheels from its track. Set it off the side, and lift the new dishrack. Slide it into its track and make sure it is locked in.
