Replaced control board

Replaced control board. Was a very easy fix once I figured out how to get the board and front panel off the machine. The parts diagram is misleading, in that you don't have a detailed picture of the actual machine, especially the screws and flashing. You really need a little direction from the internet or tech assistance to guide you to the solution. The entire front panel comes out, with the front plastic and control board still together. You separate them after you get them off the machine, when the rear of the control board is easily accessed. Basically, top cover off, unscrew all the flashing convering the board and the wiring, and the panel slides up and off and out.

I just removed the three srews on the back of the washer. Removed the top cover. Removed the four srews that hold the control panel in place. Remove the metal protective plate and removed the control panel. Don't forget to unplug the machine first and unplug the control panel before trying to remove. Also make sure to use the buttons that on for on and off and temperature setting with the new control panel. Putting all the screws back and plugging in the machine after the swap fix the setting problem.
