Description

This surface burner valve regulates gas flow to a single cooktop burner through the control knob. Replacing a worn valve restores smooth flame control, reliable ignition, and a positive shutoff for safer, consistent cooking.

• Regulates and meters gas to one surface burner for off, simmer, and full-flame settings
• Works with the control knob and spark-ignition switch to light the burner
• Common symptoms: burner won't light or adjust properly, flame doesn't shut off completely, or the knob is hard to turn or wobbly
• If a gas odor is detected near the control area, stop use and service the appliance

• Disconnect electrical power and shut off gas before servicing; allow the appliance to cool
