I found replacement part in about 3 minutes on your website, watched video, replaced 2 days later when part arrived. James M Parkland , FL July 02, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDB6759AWS3 $89 maytag service call: repair man advised water valve needed replaced $359 including service fee!! no thanks! i can do that! Ordered part.for $49 inc shipping. Expected it in 3 -7 business days, but it arrived next day. Wow! Video was excellent, but ran into probem as soon as I tried to unscrew valve from under dishwasher with 1/4 inch socket. No turning power from underneath machine. The screws must have been factory-set with a serious torque! Unscrewed cabinet retaining screws (4). Pulled machine out about a foot; removed door wheel pulley which is directly behind water valve retaining plate - 1:26 on video. (need T15 Torx screwdriver), then with vice-grip pliers, forced screw turn from screw end. It actually clicked when I forced the turn! After that, it was lickety spit. David S Oneonta , NY February 19, 2016 Appliance: Model AP4456759 Water leaking from cracked inlet valve after a night of 20 below temperatures Removed and replaced inlet valve. Tip....some people had trouble with the 2 small screws that hold the bracket of the inlet valve to the dishwasher. Borrow or purchase a 1/4" nut driver for the job, makes it much easier. When replacing the bracket it is easier to partially insert the 1 screw toward the back of the dishwasher first. You will notice that the top screw holes are half circles allowing you to insert the back screw first and then tilt the bracket into the screw and tighten it. Then insert the front screw and tighten that one. It is a very tight space under there and difficult to see what you are doing. Other than that the job it fairly easy if you are familiar with hand tools. Part from AppliancePartsPros was perfect replacement, saved me from purchasing a new dishwasher. Read More...
