Cynthia B Banning , CA March 12, 2014 Leaking refrigerator water valve I wasn't sure that I could fix it myself, but I watched a video on your site that showed how easy it was, so I ordered the part. The part number was stamped on the part I needed to replace, so all I had to do was enter it in your system and the replacement part popped up. It was delivered sooner than promised and I was able to install it with no problem. Easy to follow instructions were included with the part. If I hadn't watched your video, I doubt I would have had the confidence to do it myself. I did encounter one problem though that delayed the repair - the water hose (from the water source line) needed to be replaced too, because when I reattached it, it leaked. The guy at the hardware store told me that the fittings in the ends get flattened so they're usually a one-time thing. If your site recommended replacing it along with the valve, I missed it. The hardest part of the repair, since I'm a woman, was getting the refrigerator pulled out from the wall. Read More...
