Replaced water valve

I wasn't sure that I could fix it myself, but I watched a video on your site that showed how easy it was, so I ordered the part. The part number was stamped on the part I needed to replace, so all I had to do was enter it in your system and the replacement part popped up. It was delivered sooner than promised and I was able to install it with no problem. Easy to follow instructions were included with the part. If I hadn't watched your video, I doubt I would have had the confidence to do it myself. I did encounter one problem though that delayed the repair - the water hose (from the water source line) needed to be replaced too, because when I reattached it, it leaked. The guy at the hardware store told me that the fittings in the ends get flattened so they're usually a one-time thing. If your site recommended replacing it along with the valve, I missed it. The hardest part of the repair, since I'm a woman, was getting the refrigerator pulled out from the wall.

I ended up replacing both water valves since the fridge had sat unused for a long time not running and they had rotted. The videos and directions on the site are great. When you take off the wires watch which wire (white or colored) goes in which direction. Also, when I pushed the valves in, I kinked a tube. A kinked tube, just like a kinked garden hose, does not flow. So I ended up having to take it apart again trying to find the problem and that's when I found the link and had to cut it out and it worked great after that. I swear I know very little about appliances and stuff but with this website and the videos it really is cheaper and easier than you think
