Margie H Naperville , IL July 20, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Washer MVWB800VQ0 Maytag bravos 400 quiet series washer has a high pitched squealing noise with water tub fill At first I replaced the water intake hoses which did nothing to remedy the noise. I watched a you tube on how to repair - repair was rated 2 (5) 'hammers' - easy. I ordered the part via Appliance Parts pro website - extremely easy. It shipped that day and arrived the next and included every part I needed. I followed the you tube video while completing the repair myself (female 62). It took me 2 hours to complete the whole job. The washer is now quiet on water intake (fill). No more high pitched squealing water noise rocking the house! Yeah! The part was really hard to find and I only found it on you site, had I not been able to find it I would have had to spend almost $1,000 to get a new washing machine!
