Description

This water mixing inlet valve controls the flow of hot and cold water into the washer, blending to the selected temperature. Replacing a weak or leaking valve restores proper fill, temperature control, and cycle performance. What it does:

• Opens/closes to supply hot and/or cold water to the tub or dispenser as directed by the control
• Mixes water to reach the chosen wash/rinse temperature
• Common symptoms: no fill or slow fill, only hot or only cold water, incorrect water temperature, or leaks from the valve body/fittings
• May cause long fill or temperature-related cycle interruptions

Install notes:

• Unplug the appliance and turn off both water supply valves before servicing
• Place a towel or pan to catch residual water; relieve line pressure at the hoses
