Description

• Bridges the gap between doors to create a continuous sealing surface
• Helps keep cold air in and warm air out for consistent cooling
• Aids proper door alignment and smooth closing
• Common symptoms of a failed mullion: broken or wobbly flipper, doors not closing fully or popping open, moisture/icing at the center, warming in the fresh food section

• Disconnect power before servicing and open the doors
• With the door open, release the retaining screws or tabs and lift the old mullion off the upper and lower pivots
• Position the new assembly on the pivots, secure it, and verify the flipper moves freely and seals evenly against the opposite door
• Restore power and recheck door operation and gasket contact along the full height
