David H El Paso , TX August 17, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Top Loading Washer LAT6910AAL Water level switch Since there was no water entering the machine and the machine will not start until the water level is satisfied, I concentrated on the water level switch. I disconnected the power first, then I jumped the normally open contacts on the water level switch, connected the power and the machine became operable. Ordered a water level switch from Appliance Pros, installed and the machine works great. The cost of the part was about $65.00. I was about to buy new washer at Sears for $500.00.
