Eddie J Phenix City , AL August 02, 2021 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator WRX735SDHZ00 Ice maker would not dispense ice I replaced the auger motor. You have to remove complete ice maker. Everything is just like help video to do except yoke dispenser. I watched video several times. Yoke will not just tap loose, after 30 minutes of tapping, I was using screwdriver to brace. I used a Dremel tool to cut part of shaft, came off easy then. After that, the repair went great. I have ice, I noticed motor I received was stronger. Parts came on time stated and worked great. Todd L Verona , VA September 22, 2021 Not dispensing ice. I watched a few youtube fixit videos to help determine what the problem was, stripped threads, and how to fix it. I ordered the two parts needed and when they arrived disassembled the ice maker. I tried to pry the yoke off, tried vicegrips to hold the motor and twist the yoke. Wasnt working. In the end I needed to get my Dremel and cut the threads close to the yoke and was able to then slide the yoke off. After that, reassembly was easy! Read More...
