This replacement blade is a genuine MTD part for select models of edgers. The edger blade is responsible for cutting the weeds and grass from the edges of concrete, landscaping, and other elements. In the event that the edger blade is damaged or warped in any fashion, it should be replaced immediately for safe operation of the machine. This model has a 5/8” center hole for attaching the blade nut to secure the blade. Always wear gloves when replacing edger blades and be sure to disable the engine for added safety. This repair will require a wrench or socket set to remove the blade nut and replace it once the blade is changed. This blade is sold as a single unit and comes un-sharpened.
