Parts for Maytag MGR6875ADQ: 02 - Control Panel / Top Assembly Parts

A shoulder screw that secures appliance components and provides a precise pivot or spacer point. Replaces a missing or worn screw to restore alignment, reduce rattling, and keep panels and assemblies securely in place. What it does:

• Provides a fixed-diameter shoulder for pivots, spacers, or mounting points in assemblies.
• Holds panels and moving components at the correct distance to prevent binding or friction.
• A missing or worn shoulder screw can cause misalignment, rattling, or loose parts during operation.
• Used where a smooth-bearing surface and controlled clearance are required between parts.

• Disconnect power to the appliance (unplug or shut off breaker) before servicing.
• Handle small fasteners carefully to avoid dropping into assemblies; magnetic pickup tools can help.
• Start threads by hand to avoid cross-threading; tighten snugly but avoid overtightening.

Color: Taupe. Dual.

Rubber foot that attaches to the bottom of range cooktop grates. Provides stability and prevents scratching. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing.

This factory screw secures appliance components to their mounting points. Replace missing, worn, or stripped hardware to restore a tight fit, proper alignment, and quieter operation across the affected assembly.

• Fastens panels, brackets, covers, or internal parts to the chassis or frame
• Helps maintain alignment and support, reducing rattle, vibration, or looseness
• Replaces missing or damaged screws that have backed out, broken, or stripped
• Restores secure mounting after service when original hardware is lost

• Disconnect power; shut off water or gas supplies before servicing
• Use the correct driver; start threads by hand to avoid cross-threading
• Match length and thread to the original location; do not substitute with longer hardware
• Tighten snugly; do not overtighten into plastic or thin metal

Metal grounding screw for electric ranges and ovens. Secures electrical grounding connections. Replace if stripped, corroded, or missing.

Replace your range's control knob to restore function and appearance. This knob fits on the control panel and may need replacement if cracked or broken.

This rubber grommet cushions and protects wiring or small appliance components from vibration and abrasion, helping reduce noise and prevent chafing where a wire or part passes through a housing. What it does:

• Cushions motor mounts or components to reduce vibration and rattling
• Protects wiring and hoses from chafing where they pass through sheet metal
• Keeps small parts seated and aligned in their mounting points
• Worn or damaged grommets can allow noise, rubbing marks, or intermittent wiring wear

• One grommet as shown

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair
• Remove panels as needed to access the worn grommet; replace with the same style grommet
• Inspect surrounding wiring, hoses, and mounting holes for damage and correct routing
• Use common hand tools

This replacement grommet seals and cushions a pass-through on your cooking appliance. It helps protect internal areas from spills, heat, and vibration while keeping the shaft, wire, or tube it surrounds securely positioned for smooth, rattle-free operation.

• Provides a tight seal where a shaft, wire, tube, or screw passes through a panel
• Helps prevent spills, grease, and heat from entering the chassis
• Cushions components to reduce vibration and wear
• Common signs of wear: missing, cracked, hardened, deformed, or loose-fitting grommet; rattling around the opening

• Disconnect power; for gas appliances, also shut off the gas supply
• Remove the knob or panel to access the old grommet
• Note orientation and seat the new grommet fully and evenly in the opening
• Reassemble and check that the component moves or fits without binding
