This user interface control is the front control panel assembly for the oven, giving you the buttons and display to set cook modes, temperature and timers so the range responds correctly to your inputs. What it does:

• Registers button/touch inputs and sends commands to the oven control board
• Displays clock, temperature, timer and mode information for user feedback
• Enables selection of bake, broil, convection and timer functions (depending on model)
• Can resolve symptoms like unresponsive or missing display, incorrect mode selection, or non-working keypad entries

• Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any service to avoid shock
• Remove trim and access screws to lift out the control assembly; handle the display and glass carefully to avoid damage
• Re-seat connectors firmly; only replace this assembly if numbers match the part you removed
