Symptoms of a faulty igniter include: 

• Inability to start or maintain a flame within the combustion chamber  
• Dryer fails to heat or functions intermittently

Potential causes involve typical wear from repeated sparking over many heating cycles. Mineral deposits or moisture intrusion can reduce effectiveness as well.

Compatible models include some brands produced by Amana, KitchenAid, and Kenmore.

This ground screw secures the appliance grounding conductor to the chassis for a reliable electrical ground connection, helping maintain safety and proper operation. It's a direct-fit fastener used where a dedicated ground screw is required. What it does

The gas valve regulates the precise amount of gas needed to properly combust and generate heat for drying clothes. 

Causes of a bad gas valve coil can be wear and tear from regular use, lime or mineral buildup on the coils over time, or physical damage to the coils.

Symptoms of a bad gas valve coil kit include:

• Inconsistent or incomplete drying  
• Slow or intermittent drying
• Burning smell from the gas dryer
• Improper burner ignition or non-ignition
