This burner ignitor switch controls spark delivery to a cooktop burner so the burner lights when the knob is turned. It replaces a worn or failed switch to restore ignition responsiveness and consistent sparking. What it does:

  • Routes spark current to the surface burner ignitor when the control knob is turned
  • Stops spark delivery when the control knob is released or turned off
  • Commonly used when a burner fails to spark or sparks intermittently
  • Works with the cooktop's ignition system to enable safe, reliable lighting
What's included:
  • One burner ignitor switch
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power (and gas if applicable) before servicing to avoid shock or injury
  • Access may require removing the cooktop or control panel
