This kit replaces a temperature-control thermostat and its mounting plate in select dryers. It helps restore accurate heat regulation and consistent cycling, protecting against overheating and poor drying results when the original thermostat or bracket has failed.

• Senses exhaust air temperature and opens/closes contacts to control the heater
• Helps maintain consistent drying temperatures and safe operation
• Failure symptoms include no heat, insufficient heat, overheating, or erratic cycling
• Mounts with the included plate to ensure proper positioning of the thermostat

• Disconnect power before servicing; for gas units, also shut off gas supply
• Access the thermostat location (typically on the blower/exhaust housing); note wire positions and transfer one at a time
• Attach the thermostat to the plate and secure the assembly using existing hardware if new fasteners are not provided
• After reassembly, verify proper airflow and clean the lint path and venting
