This tube-pick up was created for three to five horsepower horizontal and five horsepower vertical engines with a two to three-quart tank and a pulse jet carburetor. As part of the carburetor, the tube-pick up moves gas from the float bowl to the main body of the carburetor. Sometimes the tube-pick up can become clogged up with particles and dirt, which makes it harder for gasoline to flow through it.
