Parts for Thermador PRDS484GD: 30 - Insulation Parts

Sound dampening insulation for gas ranges. Replaces worn, torn, or missing insulation. Helps reduce operational noise. 8.0 x 5.0 inch panel.

This side heat barrier insulation fits the oven cavity to help protect the appliance cabinet and nearby components from excessive heat. It restores proper thermal shielding to reduce heat transfer and hotspot damage. What it does:

• Shields the range/oven sidewalls to protect adjacent panels and electronics from heat.
• Helps maintain correct oven cavity temperatures by preventing heat loss through the cabinet.
• Can reduce hot spots or discoloration on exterior panels caused by failing insulation.
• Commonly replaced when insulation is damaged, torn, missing, or shows signs of heat burn.

• One side heat barrier insulation panel (single side).

• Disconnect power (and gas if applicable) before servicing the appliance.
• Wear gloves and eye protection; insulation edges can be sharp or fibrous.
• Remove oven racks and access the side panel to replace the insulation.
• Verify correct orientation and secure mounting so the insulation does not interfere with moving parts or heating elements.
