Alliance Dryer Belt

The Dryer Cylinder Belt is an OEM replacement part for Speed Queen dryers. It is a critical component that transmits the rotational force from the drive motor to the dryer drum, enabling it to spin during the drying cycle. This drum belt is approximately 99" long. This drum belt is flat and has 5 ribs and 4 grooves.

Symptoms of a faulty dryer cylinder belt include:

• The dryer drum not rotating or rotating intermittently
• Squeaking or grinding noises during operation
• Visible wear, cracks, or fraying on the belt

Causes of a bad cylinder belt can include normal wear and tear over time, exposure to high temperatures, misalignment or improper tracking, or physical damage from foreign objects or debris.

This Drive belt keeps the washer's transmission and tub turning by transferring motor power to the drum. Replaces a worn or broken belt to restore normal agitation and spinning performance. What it does:

• Transfers motor torque to the transmission/drum so the washer agitates and spins
• Stops slippage that can cause slow or no spin/agitate cycles
• Helps eliminate squealing or burning-rubber noises when the belt is worn
• Prevents further motor/drive damage from a broken or glazed belt

• Disconnect power and water supply before starting any repairs
• Remove access panels and shift the drum to relieve belt tension for removal
• Inspect pulleys, idler, and motor shaft for wear or debris before installing the new belt
• Route the belt according to the OEM diagram, then test run the machine
