Howard for Model Number SHU6805/06 I have a Bosch dishwasher where the soap dispenser is not being activated during the wash cycle. All of the mechanical parts look OK but the wax actuator doesn't seem to be activating. I tested the voltage going to the motor and it showed only a steady 2.3 volts. Does this seem right or should it be 110v? Thank you
Answer Hello Howard, The wax motor is activated by 120Vac. You should disconnect the wax motor to check for the voltage. If it still reads 2.3 volts, the harness should be checked and the output from the board verified. If the reading is 120Vac, replace the harness. If the voltage is not 120Vac from the board, replace the board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, April 21, 2015
