Reggie for Model Number SHE46C06UC/40 Bosch dishwasher has worked great for many years. Just yesterday, it started, heated water, ran through the entire cycle and drained. When I was ready to remove the dishes, the gel detergent had run from the holder but had not gotten wet and the dishes were all still dirty. I've run diagnostics and it shows error code E1. A heating problem. It certainly seems to heat well enough but I never hear the circulation pump running. I've added water after the initial fill to be sure there is sufficient water in the unit but still no circulation pump action. I've not attempted any repairs beyond making sure the filters are clean and there is nothing at the bottom of the sump.
Answer Reggie, You will want to check the circulation pump to ensure that there is 120 vac getting to it and if there is but is not running then the motor would be the issue.
