Brutus for Model Number bosch she3ar52uc/16 Recently, my Bosch DW started having issues. The cycle starts to run just fine, water fills, etc. Once it is done with that part there is a loud humming noise. The other symptoms are that the gel pacs sometimes don't dissolve, and my sanitize cycle apparently doesnt run. I now because the light comes on when it's finished. I spoke to a repair guy locally and he said the "motor" needs replaced. Is there a chance that something needs cleaned, is jammed in there, etc, or does the motor / pump assembly need cleaned / replaced. I've removed debris from the spinning arms inside.
Answer Hello Brutus, the symptoms match what would occur with a stalled/seized circulation pump, part [AP5325798, you would have to access the pump under the dishwasher , remove it and check if there is anything blocking the impellor if not then it has seized and would need to be replaced.
