Leo W. for Model Number Bosch SHU3306UC / U12 FD 8010 The person above nailed the symptoms of my Bosch dishwasher precisely. The unit is making an abnormal noise during the wash cycle when the spray arms would normally be engaged. It spurts water out about four inches only from the bottom arm and nothing out of the top. Drains ok when we hit cancel drain. Like me, the previous poster seemed to suspect the circulation pump went bad. You also seem to suggest in your reply however that the water valve may be the culprit. I like your suggestion better since the valve is much cheaper. :) Could you suggest a procedure that would help me isolate which one it is? Thanks for a great service here, whichever it is I'll be sure to order from you. Look forward to your reply! Leo
Answer Hello Leo. If the water valve is the problem, you can check the water level inside the unit. When you start the dishwasher, there should be about 1½" of water inside the unit. If the water level is low, then the valve is the problem. If the water level is correct, then you will need to replace the circulation pump 00239144. Hope this helps. Read More...
