Tom for Model Number shu3306uc/u12 Hi I have cleaned up all the inlet ports and my dish washer still only produces enough water pressure to squirt water out of the bottom spray arm about 6 inches should I replace pump and motor or rebuild pump only diswasher is about 8 year old also would this affect the drying cycle
Answer Tom, a low water level, can create the same issue, start the machine and allow it to fill and run for 3 to 5 minutes. open the door, and remove the lower rack, the water level in the base of the tub should cover all the upper openings of the filter basket 00615079 (at the least). If the water level is in range, then consider the circulation pump 00239144 it this stage, thats the best bet. As for water circulation affecting the dry cycle, Yes, that can occur, the rinse agent won't be dispensed or disbursed properly, the dishes won't clean properly and the dishes will not "warm" properly to aid in the drying process.
