Jay for Model Number SHX46A05UC/40 Got a Bosch SHX46A05UC/40 that does not drain after a cycle. Checked all the drain lines on the side of the machine to the sink drain and those look to be clear. Pulled the filters inside the unit and checked for anything clogging the unit and all seems clear. It does sound slightly different during certain phases of the cycle but not sure if that is because the pump is dead or if something is blocking the impeller.
Answer Hello Jay. You need to test for power to the drain pump motor. If there is power there, and the unit does not drain, replace the pump. If there is no power, check the wiring. If good, replace the control. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
