Lynne for Model Number AWFMC330UC/10 I keep getting an error E04 code. I had a Bosch authorized service tech come out and he told me I use too much soap. I didn't think I did but reduced the amount of soap to approx. 2 tablespoons per wash load, no softner or bleach. I still get the E04 code. Do I need a need control board and can I replace this part myself. This error happens on all types of wash cycles. I have to drain, run a soak cycle then drain again and spin to get the wash finished. Or drain and rerun the load on 25 minute cycle without soap.
Answer Lynne, Before replacing any parts you will want to try to run a clean cycle with white vinegar and the hottest water you can get to make sure that there is no soap residue that may have clogged a sensor or anything. Then you would want to try to run a cycle and if the problem persists then replace the control board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, June 27, 2014
