Gary May 04, 2019 for Model Number WFMC3301UC/06 Sometimes whenever we go through the wash cycle & it gets to the spin cycle it stops & gives the E04 message & it stays stopped. We use a water-vac to suck all the water out by loosening the drain pump cap down at the lower right corner of the machine. Then we restart the wash cycle & it completes the cycle. Sometimes when we wash another load it works fine but sometimes it stops at the spin cycle & gives the E04 message. Then we have to go through everything again. Would this be a problem with the drain pump or the control board unit or should we run through a cycle using the vinegar?
1 Answer Gary, You will want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to the drain pump. Also check to see if there is any clogs in the hoses. If there is 120 vac at the pump then the issue will be a faulty pump and if there is not 120 vac then the issue will be a faulty control board. Read More...
Cathy February 23, 2019 for Model Number WFMC3200UC/01 Had an E04 error. Washer would not drain. Check drain and nothing in it. Replace motor control board. now washer does not completely fill with water or spin. If I put it on drain, it will drain but nothing else.
1 Answer Cathy, You will want to check the pressure hose to make sure that it is not clogged up. Check to make sure that the water supply is turned on all the way and that there are no clogs in the screens of the water valve that could cause slow fill and cause the unit to time out. Read More...
Samantha July 11, 2018 for Model Number WFL2060UC/27 Washer runs the cycle just fine but no water flows into drum so clothes arnt wet. Cleaned all pipes, hoses, and filters testing them for kinks or breaks but none found. Sometimes the door stays locked after cycle is completed as well.
1 Answer Samantha, You will want to check the screens on the valve for being clogged. if they are not then you will want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to the valve and if there is then the valve is faulty and if there is not power then this would be a faulty main control board. Gordon December 17, 2017 for Model Number Bosch next 500 series WFMC3301UC Washer has error code of E04 and doesn’t seem to be draining. Cleared out paper clip in pump trap and still won’t drain and has error
1 Answer Gordon, This issue sounds likely that there may be an issue with the drain pump. You will want to check to see if there is 120 vac and if there is power then this will be caused by a faulty pump. Read More...
Jay October 08, 2017 for Model Number WFMC1001/07 FD 8707 900903 Washer dosent drain or spin. Washes fine. Any ideas?
1 Answer Hello Jay. Test for power to the drain pump. If there is power there and the pump does not run, you will need to make sure it is not clogged. If not, then you will need to replace the pump on the unit. Thank you. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Terry August 01, 2016 for Model Number WFMC5301UC My Bosch washer will not start. The start/pause light flashes, but when the start button is pressed, the door lock does not engage. I changed out the door interlock switch. Initially it still would not start. I read on-line that you could hold the start button for 5 seconds to disable a child lock feature. I tried this, and the machine started. It washed 5 or 6 loads fine, then quit working again. I left the machine unplugged over night, and then tried the 5 second thing again. The machine went back to working. I was able to wash 2 or 3 loads, and now it's quit working again. No matter what I try, the machine will not start. The red light will flash on the start/pause, but will not lock the door to start up. Is it the control board?
1 Answer Hello Terry. Yes, it sounds like the control board is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Bart May 27, 2015 for Model Number WFL2060 UC/01 (FD 8201-) My washer will start its cycle just fine but mid cycle it will quit running with water in the drum and the door locked shut. I read that it may be an inlet valve but i dont believe so because it starts filling on any temp setting. My last thought is that it is the control board. Any thoughts?
1 Answer Bart, You will want to check the door lock on the unit as it is very possible that the enable switch in the door lock that allows it to spin is not making. If this checks ok then the issue will be with the control board. Read More...
Jane February 01, 2015 for Model Number WFL2060 UC/01 (FD 8201-) My Bosch washer was leaking at the front so I ordered a new door seal. After installation when I turn the machine on, the red light comes on, I can hear something-but no water fills the unit. Have I put it back together incorrectly?
1 Answer Hello Jane. You need to check and make sure you turned the water back on. Also, make sure the dispenser is hooked up properly. Read More...
Chris D December 27, 2014 for Model Number WFL2060 UC/01 (FD 8111-) I started my machine, the red indicator light came on for about a second then went out. The machine is now dead. Any suggestions? My first instinct is to change the control board.
1 Answer Chris, You will want to check the power supply coming into the unit to make sure that there is 120 vac. If there is 120 vac coming to the control board but the unit is dead then the control module would be the issue and would need to be replaced. Read More...
