Gary for Model Number WFMC3301UC/06 Sometimes whenever we go through the wash cycle & it gets to the spin cycle it stops & gives the E04 message & it stays stopped. We use a water-vac to suck all the water out by loosening the drain pump cap down at the lower right corner of the machine. Then we restart the wash cycle & it completes the cycle. Sometimes when we wash another load it works fine but sometimes it stops at the spin cycle & gives the E04 message. Then we have to go through everything again. Would this be a problem with the drain pump or the control board unit or should we run through a cycle using the vinegar?
Answer Gary, You will want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to the drain pump. Also check to see if there is any clogs in the hoses. If there is 120 vac at the pump then the issue will be a faulty pump and if there is not 120 vac then the issue will be a faulty control board. Read More...
