Jay for Model Number Bosch SHU9915UC/11 If you push the "on" switch the motor starts before you close the door. Close the door but no water comes out. The lights on the control panel only come on when the off/on switch is put "on". The motor starts with the door open. No water comes out. Close the door and the motor still runs but no water. Is this a control module problem? Thank you, Jay H.
Answer Hello Jay, It sounds like the drain pump is probably the motor you are hearing. This explains the no fill and the motor on with the door opened. You will need to replace the water inlet valve 00425458 and while you have the old one off, before installing the new one, use the opening where the new one goes to access the base. Use a teri-cloth towel not washed in fabric softener to "wick" the water out of the base. This will stop the drain pump from cycling on with the power switch turned on. Once you have ALL of the water removed from the base assembly, install the water inlet valve, check for leaks, and you should be ready to do dishes. Read More...
