Washig B. for Model Number SHE3AR55UC When powering on the dishwasher everything seems normal, I select the cycle and then press start; the machine will make some clicking noises for a few seconds and then the 'clean' light turns on as if it just finished a cycle and its done. The door holding the soap never opened. I've checked and cleaned all filters, when cleaning the trap on the bottom I noticed some dirty standing water underneath that I was couldn't get to drain. I pulled up on this floater thing next to the trap and that also caused some click noises and a suction sound but it didnt go down. I eventually siphoned it out with a turkey baster try to see if I could clean it out a bit but the problem remains.
Answer Hello Washig, You will need to completely clear the base of the water and I would replace the water inlet valve 00622058. This is the most common cause of this issue but any water leak will cause this. You can let the unit fill and look inside for a dribble of water into the base to make sure the water is coming from the left side which would indicate the water valve. If not, the unit will most likely have to be pulled out to determine the origin of the water leak. When all is done, the water must be removed from the base for normal operation to occur.
