Ernie for Model Number SHE46C06UC/22 Runs for over three hours. I have never seen the sanitize light on. The time to finish will sometimes change back to a higher time. Once it was on 20 and I opened the door. And closed it and it jumped back down to one (1) the washer does a good job but has always ran for over three plus hours. If it is the control board, is this the right number 00661682? I just replaced the dispenser and hesitate to spend more.
Answer As with all Bosch dishwashers, the first thing I recommend to do is access the base of the unit by removing the two screws that mount the water inlet valve so you can check for water in the base. When the flood switch is activated, it makes the unit think that the unit is flooding the home and will kill power to all circuits except the drain pump. The drain pump is the only thing the control will allow voltage to be applied to. For this reason, many times when a customer says the unit runs but won't wash the dishes, the issue is with a leak into the main base. As I stated, you can access the base by removing the two water valve mounting screws. At this point you need to either use a flashlight and an inspection mirror or simply use a paper towel. Using the paper towel, force it as low in the base as possible. If it comes out wet, this is the issue. 85% of the time, water in the main base is the fault of a water inlet valve that is fouled with mineral deposits or other water supply sedimentation. This prevents the valve from opening fully. This causes too little water pressure in the fill cycle and will cause a dribble of water to "splash over" into the main base from the water injector device on the left side of the unit. Of course, the cure for the issue is to completely dry the inside of the base and replace the water inlet valve 00425458. There are two ways to remove the water from the base. You can use a teri-cloth towel to "wick" the water out or you can set a fan in front of the unit until the water evaporates from the base. The water will normally evaporate in 24 hours since the flood switch will cut the water off before too much is accumulated. If there is a large amount of water, you will need to remove the unit and one or both bodysides to locate the source of the leak. Also, you can return any part ordered from us for 365 days from the date of order for any reason. Also, the parts we sell are supplied by the manufacturer. As far as I know, they are all new. The only exception would be if the manufacturer lists the part as being a re-conditioned or re-manufactured part. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 10, 2014
