Questions & Answers

For Bosch Control Board (Electronic Control Module) (Part Number: OEM11895060)

Marty, There are two possibilities, based on your post description. The pushbutton assembly 00600031 / 00600031 could be cracked, broken or distorted and is not making contact with the control board when pressed. But, it's more likely going to be the control board itself 00647478 / 00647478 . You'll need to remove the facia panel and control board to check.

Not sure of the exact model. Controls are on the top of the door and hidden when the door is closed. The dishwasher has been in daily service for approx 12 years. Problem free. Recently after loading the dishwasher and setting the controls when the door closes it does not energize the dishwasher. After several tries it works and may work for weeks before encountering the same problem. Is there something that I am not doing correctly? Does the gasket need replacement. Any clues would be appreciated.

Jeff, With not being able to change the selection and the unit not starting at all then this issue would most likely be a faulty main control board.

Dan for Model Number BOSCH SHE46C06UC/33

My Bosch dishwasher fails to complete a regular cleaning cycle. During a Regular Wash cycle it seems to run normally until it counts down to "1" minute left. At that point it just keeps running and appears to have rinse water still splashing around. Today I stopped the opened the door, pressed the power button twice and changed the cycle to Rinse & Hold. It counted down from 35 minutes and went all the way to zero. I did look in the bottom tray under the fill valve as recommended in other answers and found it to be completely dry. I'm guessing that I need a new controller board. Thoughts? Thanks! Dan

Hello Dan. If the unit is not leaking, you will need to check for a stuck or bad float switch on the unit.

As with all Bosch dishwashers, the first thing I recommend to do is access the base of the unit by removing the two screws that mount the water inlet valve so you can check for water in the base. When the flood switch is activated, it makes the unit think that the unit is flooding the home and will kill power to all circuits except the drain pump. The drain pump is the only thing the control will allow voltage to be applied to. For this reason, many times when a customer says the unit runs but won't wash the dishes, the issue is with a leak into the main base. As I stated, you can access the base by removing the two water valve mounting screws. At this point you need to either use a flashlight and an inspection mirror or simply use a paper towel. Using the paper towel, force it as low in the base as possible. If it comes out wet, this is the issue. 85% of the time, water in the main base is the fault of a water inlet valve that is fouled with mineral deposits or other water supply sedimentation. This prevents the valve from opening fully. This causes too little water pressure in the fill cycle and will cause a dribble of water to "splash over" into the main base from the water injector device on the left side of the unit. Of course, the cure for the issue is to completely dry the inside of the base and replace the water inlet valve 00425458. There are two ways to remove the water from the base. You can use a teri-cloth towel to "wick" the water out or you can set a fan in front of the unit until the water evaporates from the base. The water will normally evaporate in 24 hours since the flood switch will cut the water off before too much is accumulated. If there is a large amount of water, you will need to remove the unit and one or both bodysides to locate the source of the leak. Also, you can return any part ordered from us for 365 days from the date of order for any reason. Also, the parts we sell are supplied by the manufacturer. As far as I know, they are all new. The only exception would be if the manufacturer lists the part as being a re-conditioned or re-manufactured part.

Hello Larry. If the water is not heating, it is either the heater unit or the control on the unit causing the issue you are having.

Andre for Model Number bosch she46c06uc/22

My Bosch Dishwasher is experiencing some problems completing the cycle, filling, stuck on cycle, etc. I believe it is the controller. My question is if I buy the controller and this is not the problem, can i return it? Second, Is the part new? There are a couple of outfits that repair the circuit boards for a third to a half the price of the new controller. I do not see any noticeable damage to the circuit board (like an apparent burned circuit).
