Charles for Model Number SHE43F12UC/64 My dishwasher doesn't drain. It goes through the wash part of the cycle but when it gets to the drain part of the cycle, it goes down to zero and ends the cycle. It is also showing error code e2. I checked the thermistor. it is showing a lower resistance at a lower temperature as is the thermal cutoff side of the thermistor unit. i.e., it opens up at 127 degrees. The float valve seems to be working bc I push and hear it click. If it was not working at all I wouldn't get any water. The door latch is ok. I didn't know how to start the drain cycle and can't do that with it all apart. what do you recommend?
Answer Charles, Check to make sure that the filters are not clogged and you will need to test to see if there is 120 Vac coming from the control board to the drain pump. If there is 120 vac then make sure that the pump is not clogged and if it is not then replace the drain pump. If there is no power then replace the control board. Read More...
