Gregg for Model Number SHP65TL5UC/02 I was changing out the soap dispenser on my dishwasher. I thought that I powered off current to the unit buy tripping the GFI in the kitchen. The dish washer wash not running (not powered on) and I removed the door cover. The door slipped a little and the red wire cluster disengaged from the control display board. I thought to double check that the power was off to the unit and switched the breaker off. I replaced the soap dispenser and ensured that all wires were properly connected. I turned the breaker back on. When I tried to power the unit up the control board is dead no lights on. I removed the door cover and checked with my volt meter power to the switch located next to the display board. There is 110 volts going to the switch. I also reconnected the old soap dispenser just to be sure that it was not the new dispenser causing the problem. Can you help me diagnose the problem?
Answer Gregg, if the display is receiving voltage and not operating, the user control 00746432 has failed and would need to be replaced. It is likely that when the cord was pulled loose that it damaged the contacts in the user control. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Sunday, August 8, 2021
