Hello, thank you for contacting Appliancepartspros.com. Your dishwasher has a basin underneath the tub that is designed to capture any water that may leak. There is a round foam disk that, when water is present, trips a switch that turns the drain pump on. Remove the front panel or p[plate and locate the leak. It can come from the water valve, or various pumps and motors. Clean out any water that is in the basin, and it will take care of the issue.

Pete for Model Number SHP65T55UC/07

Bosch Dishwasher series 500 SHP65T55UC/07. Stops in Mid-Cycle with lights on and no code. Water is in the bottom tub, I have cleaned out the filter and there are no obstructions. Have to unplug unit and plug it back in. Restart with auto cycle. Unit lights up, water drains out properly. Then just sits there with the light on. Never goes into a wash cycle. Have unplug and plug again. One time I did get a E25 error, but the it does drain out when I power off and power on the unit. During one of these events the control panel buttons became unresponsive. I had to unplug and plug the unit to get the buttons to work again. I do run the dishwasher daily and it will run with NO problems for days. Then just go into one of these conditions. I do make sure the racks and door are all properly set. Is this a control module, door button module, or a sensor issue? Any thoughts? Thank you.

1 Answer

Pete, if there is not a loose or damaged wire, the most likely cause of failure would be the power control module 12009532 / OEM23939958 based on the information provided.

Hello Tom, thank you for contacting APP, If the keys are sticking there may be detergent residue or some other sticky substance causing this issue. I would recommend to try cleaning the buttons and assembly if at all possible. If this does not seem to resolve the issue it is probable that the issue is within the Control Panel Assembly 00746432.

Gregg for Model Number SHP65TL5UC/02

I was changing out the soap dispenser on my dishwasher. I thought that I powered off current to the unit buy tripping the GFI in the kitchen. The dish washer wash not running (not powered on) and I removed the door cover. The door slipped a little and the red wire cluster disengaged from the control display board. I thought to double check that the power was off to the unit and switched the breaker off. I replaced the soap dispenser and ensured that all wires were properly connected. I turned the breaker back on. When I tried to power the unit up the control board is dead no lights on. I removed the door cover and checked with my volt meter power to the switch located next to the display board. There is 110 volts going to the switch. I also reconnected the old soap dispenser just to be sure that it was not the new dispenser causing the problem. Can you help me diagnose the problem?

1 Answer

Gregg, if the display is receiving voltage and not operating, the user control 00746432 has failed and would need to be replaced. It is likely that when the cord was pulled loose that it damaged the contacts in the user control.

Victor Ceron for Model Number SHP65T55UC/02

I.could use your expert help here. I am trying to fix my Bosch dishwasher SHP65T55UC. 1. Problem started one afternoon when it was running and it started beeping continuously mid cycle. There were leaks coming from the both sides of the door. The flood mode kicked (error 15) in as there was water in the bottom tray and under the Styrofoam disc 2. I reset it and it drained the remaining water in the chamber. I used a sponge to drain the remainder water that was in the filter area and dried the bottom tray thoroughly. 3. If I try to run any cycle the dishwasher starts beeping continuously after 2 minutes and starts to leak/flood again. 4. I used test/diagnosis mode and got a Error 08 that has to do with the water coming in. 5. I replaced both the inlet valve and Power module. Problem remains. 6. I cleaned the drain, filter and drain motor. problem remains. 7. I disconnected and cleaned every inlet and drain hose in and out of the washer. Including the lines coming and going to the water supply and drain. Problem persists. 8. Every time I try to run a cycle the machine starts filling and it starts beeping continuously after 2 minutes when the beeping starts there are no leaks yet, no water in the bottom tray, the water level is low but sure enough the machine keeps filling and the overfilling happens a minute after. If I reset the machine it drains fine. 9. For the life of me I can't find anywhere what the continuous beeping means but the beeping sure enough happens before the overfilling every time. I don't think is related to water outside the chamber as the tray is bone dry when the beeping starts. The beeping signals there is a problem but the machine keeps filling anyway. 10. My only thought is that the 00746432 Control Assembly may be at fault but I am not sure if the 00746432 Control Assembly controls anything or if it is just for display and buttons. How is the dishwasher controlled? Is it by the board at the base of the unit or by the one in the door?

1 Answer

Victor, The control board at the bottom of the unit will control the flow of the water. Check the float switch to ensure that it has continuity as this could be a cause for the overfilling.

Gary, the unit can be entered into an error code program mode by having the unit turned off, pressing and holding the express and rinse buttons and then turning the dishwasher on and holding the power on button until P0 shows. Once the LED shows P0, the buttons will need to be released and the rinse button will need to be pressed once more. This will allow the entry into stored error codes. If no error codes are present, then the control assembly 00746432 may have a sticking key.

James, different models will have different components that may or may not be used. The video would be in reference to the model that was used and should only be considered a general guideline. As that model did not use the connector, the connector would be left empty. However, as your particular model is utilizing that connection port, it would be recommended that the wire is plugged into the connection.

Peter, this error is going to indicate a faulty heater circuit which could either be in the heat pump 12008381, wire, or the power module 12009532. With the dishwasher disconnected from power, the wires going to the heat pump would need to be tested for continuity. Then the heater (three large terminals on the motor, the outer terminal is terminal 1) would need to be tested for resistance using the terminal 2 and terminal 3. The resistance reading should be 8.9O of resistance at room temperature. If the wires and heater test good, the power module is the issue. If either the wires or the heater fail, replace as necessary.
