Mark for Model Number Thermador SGS36GS My issue is in ignition. Sometimes it works just fine, and others there is no spark at all. Gas still flows to all burners and they can be lit manually.
Answer Hello Mark, This can be a lost ground to the burner base, a failed ignitor, or, if the "clicking" is not occurring, a failing spark module, or a bad start switch circuit. There could be a bad ignitor wire causing the spark to jump to ground before reaching the ignitor. For a more detailed diagnosis we would need a more specific description of the failure, (is it making the clicking sound when trying to light or no sound at all, are the other ignitors sparking, and so on).
