Andrew for Model Number SGCV36G01 Older cooktop SGCV36G, has been working great until recently, where the left front burner and back right burner no longer ignites. On turning on the control, I get one spark from the ignitor, and then nothing, so if it didn't light, the gas keeps flowing. Similarly if you blow it out, the igniter doesn't start sparking to re-light it. Turning on another burner causes all igniters to spark, and it lights ok. I'm wondering if it is the spark module 20-09-166 that could be at fault, and if so, can it be replaced with 00753257 which has 6 instead of 4 outputs?
Answer Andrew, Using a multimeter I would recommend checking the wiring and the spark switches from the module to the ignitor. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, October 15, 2021
