Vanessa for Model Number SHX55R55UC/64 I troubleshooted my dishwasher on here and order the float switch. I was getting an error 01 and was hoping this would fix everything. repair was simple but did not change anything. Water is coming in through bottom arm but not reaching the upper rack. I was hoping that I didn't need to replace the circulation pump - but it isn't circulating.. given that the error code means heater - would replacing the heating element fix this?
Answer Vannessa, With the Error 01 being a heater issue you would want to replace the heater. It is possible that the heater could be clogged causing an issue with getting water to the upper spray arm. Also check the pump and the screens to make sure that they are not clogged causing an issue where the unit is not drawing enough water.
