Sara B for Model Number HES7062U/1 I would like to replace this myself. Do I need to wear an antistatic wrist band or antistatic gloves or something? I see there is no video showing me how to replace this part. Can you recommend a similar part replacement video? Thank you!
Answer Sara, It would be a good idea to where antistatic wrist band or gloves. There is no video on how to replace the part but to replace all you would need to do is pull the unit out from the wall. Would be a good idea if you put something down to protect the floor from damage. Once you have the unit pulled out you will need to disconnect the power and remove the panel over the back of the control board. Remove the screws holding the old board in place and install the new board. Make sure that when you transfer any wires that you do it one at a time and look at what terminal it came off of.
