Bob for Model Number Bosch Dishwasher SHX46L05UC118 The dishwasher ends its complete wash and has a fair amount of water in the bottom. The pump pushes water out, I can see and hear it in the air trap. I will remove the drain hose and check for an obrstuction. If none found my guess is a pump that does not move enough volume.
Answer Hi Bob. Check the pump for obstructions or if the impellor has become loose on the motor shaft. Loop the drain hose and secure it as far up as you can under the sink. This creates a p-trap and then taught into the sink drain. This may be why it is back draining. Make sure the sink drain has not clogged. Use a screwdriver to see if the drain is open.
