Mary July 21, 2017 for Model Number SHY56A05UC Hello. My Bosch dishwasher has a serial number starting with 8409, which is not listed as an option. I need to replace the circulation pump. Is OEM#00437345 the correct part? Also, should I order any additional parts as well in case they are needed once the machine has been taken apart?
1 Answer Mary, Yes, the 00437345 / 00437345 Circulating pump is the correct part for the model number you supplied. You should consider ordering the 00172272 hose clamps (qty 2) for an easier and more dependable installation. Both parts are in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More...
Matt O January 13, 2017 for Model Number SHX68T55UC What is the difference between the circulation pump (00239144) and the motor (00437345)? They look identical. My dishwasher is not draining and I'm positive the pump is bad. Are these both pumps and if so which one do I need?
1 Answer Matt, With the unit not draining then this would not be an issue with the circulation pump but would more likely be an issue with the drain pump which is part number 00620774. Read More...

Ernie May 11, 2016 for Model Number SHY56A05 UC/14 (FD8301-) The dishwasher will fill and drain but will not circulate water through the spray arms. Deduction is the circulating pump is bad. I removed the pump, turns free, no issues with the impeller, checked the starting capacitor (good) and checked motor connections with an ohm meter (no resistance). I tried to run the motor by direct, 110v connection but it does nothing (I may not be doing it correctly or possibly the starter is bad) There is no physical evidence of a bad motor. Before I order a new motor I want to verify mine is actually bad. Is there any other way I can check for a bad starter or motor? Motor # is 437345.
1 Answer Hello Ernie. If you put voltage to the motor and it did not work, then the motor is bad and will need to be replaced. You can also test for power coming to the motor from the board. If it is there, then the motor is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Scott April 20, 2015 for Model Number SHV66A03 UC/14 (FD 8301-) My bosch dishwasher seems to run and cycle normally, but both the top and bottom wash arms do not spin so the dishes are not getting clean. I have cleaned the sump, the wash arms and the vertical pipe going up the back and there are no blockages. I replaced the impeller in the circulating pump. I put a gopro in the dishwasher and can see that the circulating pump is pumping water at what seems like a decent pressure. Is is possible that the circulating pump is failing and not pumping water at a high enough pressure? Next steps are to replace the pump or look for blockages in the heater unit. Any other thoughts? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Scott, This will have to be either a restriction/clog, a defective pump, or an insufficient water fill. If the water valve is not opening properly, the unit will not fill with enough water and the pump can actually run out of water before the water is fully circulated and drops to the bottom back to the pump. Charles April 01, 2014 for Model Number Bosch Dishwasher Model SHE46C06UC/40 My dishwasher comes on, the timer works, puts water in the bottom and does nothing else. Timer counts down. I can manually drain water. My repairman says the motor needs replacing and to just buy a new one. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just replace the motor when everything else works. Machine is 7 years old.
1 Answer Charles, The circulation pump for your unit is part number 00442548. The part would be cheaper than going out to buy a new product. Read More...
Larry S January 10, 2014 for Model Number shx56bo6u/14 fd83079442904 I have replaced the water inlet and put a kit in the recir pump I am getting a fill followed by a drain (slightly) then a fill and so on. The water is hot but will not start the spraying process. Is there a method to check the motor. Or?
1 Answer Larry, You will want to check the drain pan underneath the unit and make sure that there is no water in it. It sounds like there is water getting in there and is causing the flood sensor to turn on the drain pump. Check for leaks. Read More...
